Accreditations
SANATA is an accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) service provider with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
SANATA facilitates the accreditation of eligible events and activities for CPD purposes.
Applications are welcome from practitioners and organisers across HPCSA-registered professions, provided that the proposed event or activity incorporates relevant creative arts components and meets the applicable accreditation requirements. Please note that all applications are subject to review and approval by the SANATA CPD Committee.

Who should apply?
This application category is intended for practitioners, presenters, and event organisers who wish to obtain CPD accreditation for events or learning activities they are hosting. Examples include workshops, short courses, and other eligible professional learning activities.
How to apply
1. Download and complete the 002 Service Provider Application Form.
2. Attach the following supporting documents:
– The presenter’s curriculum vitae (CV).
– A preliminary programme or outline of the proposed event.
3. Email the completed application and supporting documents to sanatacpd@gmail.com, copying sanatadm@gmail.com.
Important: Events may not be advertised as CPD-accredited, or promoted as having approved CPD points, before formal approval has been granted by the SANATA CPD Committee.

Who should apply?
This category is intended for practitioners who have attended professional development events or activities and wish to apply for CPD points for their participation.
The HPCSA now allows practitioners to submit applications for certain individual activities directly through its online portal. However, SANATA can still assist with applications relating to eligible international conferences and events.
If you have attended an event and are experiencing difficulties obtaining CPD points through the HPCSA portal, you are welcome to submit the SANATA individual activities application form. The CPD team will review your enquiry and advise you on the appropriate way forward.
